TGIF 11/06/09

HW: Constructions and completing the 3 tables from the handout today.

-HW NOTES: You should have the following constructions (LABELED)
1) 4 separate ACUTE triangles: 1 with 3 altitudes; 1 with 3 medians; 1 with 3 perp. bisectors; 1 with 3 angle bisectors.

2) 4 separate RIGHT triangles: 1 with 3 altitudes; 1 with 3 medians; 1 with 3 perp. bisectors; 1 with 3 angle bisectors.

3) 4 separate OBTUSE triangles: 1 with 3 altitudes**; 1 with 3 medians; 1 with 3 perp. bisectors; 1 with 3 angle bisectors.
**NOTE: THERE IS A POINT OF CONCURRENCY EVEN IF THE ALTITUDES FALL OUTSIDE THE TRIANGLE. TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHERE IT IS! EXTEND SEGMENTS...

TOTAL: 12 TRIANGLES. We already worked on at least 4... certain classes got through more, so you have 5 or 6 or 7. LABEL ALL TRIANGLES VERTICES AND CONSTRUCTIONS.
