HW: Pg778 #1-9 (Lesson 8-1)

Today: Defined Pythagorean Triples and learned the Converse of the Pythagorean Theorem.
They should be recorded in your notes (with examples).

Next test is Tuesday 2/9:

In addition to old material, you need to know how to:

1) use the quadratic formula when solving quadratic equations

2) simplify and do operations with square roots

3) find patterns in a geometric sequence to predict future terms and state its common ratio

4) define and find the geometric mean between 2 numbers

5) know and apply theorems 1 and 2

6) state and prove the Pythagorean theorem

7) apply the Pythagorean theorem

8) use Pythagorean triples to find missing sides of a right triangle

9) STUDY your notes! Notes for credit will be collected on test day

Study the problems on the handouts you’ve completed AND homework and classwork from the book (pages 399-404) that has been assigned. Did I leave anything out?
