Today we reviewed the properties of parallelograms. In particular, we learned and proved the fifth property about the diagonals.
We are in section 6-1. Please be ready to prove the 4 theorems below (#2 through #5)
In a parallelogram,
1) the opposites sides are parallel (definition)
2) the opposite sides are congruent
3) the opposite angles are congruent
4) the consecutive angles are supplementary
5) the diagonals bisect each other.
Memorize them.
