Also, I have more practice for those of you that are done. One double-sided handout titled: 2-5 and 2-6 practice. READ sections 2-5 and 2-6 and make sure to focus on the proofs in their examples!

2) geometry schedule: QUIZ next Wed. and TEST next FRIDAY!!!
Note: We are going to be writing many proofs for sections 2-4, 2-5, and 2-6. In section 2-6, there are theorems 2-2 to 2-8 and each will be proven.
Note that you will be constantly using many properties and postulates over and over again. You should start recognizing some typical strategies for some of these proofs.
Some of the postulates commonly used: Segment Addition Postulate and the Angle Addition Postulate.
All of the properties are used a lot in these sections. Notice you cannot use the properties unless the statements are of EQUALITY and not congruence. Statements of equality allow us to manipulate them more easily.
