Tuesday 11/24/09

HW: Pg310 #15--25 all

Today we covered the lesson on rectangles.
A rectangle is a parallelogram with four right angles.
Therefore you may apply all properties of parallelograms to rectangles (all theorems in section 6-1).
The section introduced an additional property unique to rectangles: their diagonals are congruent.
The students were given class time to write the proof.
I also distributed a chapter 5 practice test to those retaking the test tomorrow!
Good luck!
Bye!
