Today we went over last night's homework. Then we talked a little about the meaning of the 'similarity' of shapes, specifically polygons. We defined similar polygons and scale factor. I gave an example of how one would enlarge a given triangle to one 4 times its size without changing its shape. These 2 triangles would be considered similar and their scale factor is 1:4.
We will do many more practice problems tomorrow in class.
A class lessons schedule for January was handed out today! Check out the quiz and test dates! If you need a copy, email me: tlopez@tempeprep.org
